OUR STORY

The BPS Group was born in 1975. The founder was Bill Parsons, a passionate vocational counselor that left a legacy about honest and professional counseling. His philosophy was simple: “Help workers return to gainful suitable employment, and do it with integrity and honesty.” The President is Velia Leah Figueroa. Ms. Figueroa has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. For over 25 years, Ms. Figueroa has provided return to work services to injured workers. She is a Vocational Rehabilitation Return to Work Counselor (VRTWC). Counselor Figueroa also has experience handling out-of-state cases and is an expert working with Spanish monolingual individuals.
